Qascom is looking for a Security System Expert within the Aerospace & Defence domain, relocated in ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) or in ESTEC (Noordwik).
The main objective of the Security Assurance Function is to assure that systems (security critical for Space Programmes and corporate activities) are compliant with the European Security Framework.
This includes the protection of security engineering, and the proposition of acceptable security risk posture. The follow up of the security process will lead to the certification and accreditation of security critical systems.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering field;
  • Over 3 years of professional experience as Security or System or Software Engineer in European Space Programmes;
  • Knowledge of security assurance;
  • Ability to identify and analyze security risks using advanced methodologies;
  • In-depth knowledge of security certification and accreditation processes;
  • Skills in managing security and crypto registries for classified and unclassified information;
  • Familiarity with the Space Agency programs;
  • Knowledge in handling classified information up to ESA/EU Secret level;
  • Security related certifications is considered an added value;
  • Advanced English proficiency;
  • Eligibility for National Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Security Risk Analysis, Certification and Accreditation Process;
  • Support the definition of security requirements of security critical Project/Systems;
  • Support the Security Office in Security Assurance and Risk Management Project/System Control Board activities;
  • Review Project/System documentation As-Design and As Build performing technical security engineering assessment.
